• Monitor and maintain compliance processes and controls for conveyancing and residential property transactions • Carry out regular file audits and compliance reviews of live and closed conveyancing matters • Undertake client due diligence, verification and AML screening • Support and maintain conflict of interest checks and risk assessments • Provide practical compliance guidance and training to fee earners • Assist with regulatory reporting and preparation for audits • Act as a point of contact for compliance queries
• Strong experience in fee earning or in compliance is key • Practical knowledge of AML regulations • Client due diligence • PEP and sanctions screening • Strong attention to detail • Excellent organisational skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficient user of Microsoft Office • Experience with case management and document management systems • Analytical and problem-solving mindset • Commitment to upholding regulatory and ethical standards
