📋 Description

• Serve as Senior Solutions Engineer driving deal closure and growth in North America in close collaboration with sales • Present MariaDB portfolio, design and drive solutions addressing clients' data and database centric business challenges • Create SOWs with help of the technical team, develop and lead presentations, web conferences, white-papers, workflows, and RFP/RFIs • Partner closely with global sales to prioritize resources and support GTM efforts • Manage stakeholders at all levels including CIOs/CTOs/CXOs, DBAs, developers • Lead complex customer POC engagements and collaborate with customer success and field teams • Travel as needed to support sales efforts and represent at conferences • Execute sales engineering best practices and apply enterprise technology expertise

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on, Senior Sales Engineer experience • Strong Database or Database Architecture skills (MariaDB or MySQL strongly preferred) • A working understanding of other database and open source technologies • Experience successfully leading complex customer POC engagements • Experience collaborating with customer success and field teams in customer orientation efforts • The ability and willingness to travel as needed • Excellent communication skills and high level of organization • Very strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills • Fundamental knowledge of programming languages, web stack technologies, Linux, etc. • Experience working 100% remotely with regional travel as required • Bachelors or Masters degree in a related field • MariaDB does not sponsor work visas or relocation
