• As a Sales Engineer, you’ll serve as a key technical and sales liaison between Coilmaster and our customers. • You’ll manage both inside and outside sales efforts, working directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions tailored to their mechanical systems. • Your focus will include: • Acting as a technical expert and trusted advisor for customer applications • Managing the full sales cycle including prospecting, quoting, closing, and account management • Conducting on-site customer visits to assess needs and recommend solutions • Partnering with engineering and production teams to ensure alignment and feasibility • Preparing technical presentations, quotes, proposals, and contracts • Staying informed on industry trends and attending trade shows as needed
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field • 3 to 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in HVAC, hydronics, or metals industries • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret technical drawings and specs • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical info into customer-friendly language • Comfort with travel, typically 25% to 50% • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools • A self-starter mindset with strong time management skills • Preferred: Background in HVAC components or hydronic system design • Field engineering experience is a plus
