📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end strategy for Marqeta’s credit platform • Define and deliver the multi-quarter roadmap for credit platform core services • Align prioritization with client needs, business objectives, and regulatory requirements • Author product requirements and technical documentation for backend systems, APIs, and data models • Lead cross-functional execution across engineering, GTM, operations, legal, compliance, and risk • Partner with engineering leaders on account management, transaction processing, and data integrity architecture decisions • Engage external customers and internal stakeholders to identify needs and validate solutions • Use analytics and product metrics to identify platform gaps and measure feature impact • Represent Marqeta’s credit platform with enterprise clients, issuing banks, and networks • Lead across teams without direct reports and own outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience in fintech or payments • Demonstrated experience working with networks and banks in a leadership capacity • Proven track record of shipping technically complex credit products and/or platforms at scale • Experience in multi-stakeholder, regulated ecosystems • Ability to identify market opportunities in credit and translate them into actionable strategy • Strong executive presence and experience influencing senior leadership, external customers, legal, compliance, and risk partners • Deep technical acumen and comfort engaging with APIs, data models, system architecture, AI/ML applications, and emerging technologies • Ability to move teams forward through ambiguity and internal and external roadblocks • Prior experience building or scaling credit-as-a-service or embedded credit products for enterprise clients or card program managers
