📋 Description
• Support the Office of the Head DI Underwriter in the Disability Underwriting Governance Team • Develop recommendations for new underwriting guidelines • Provide technical expertise for the department • Review contestable claims and track trends • Communicate new product initiatives/changes to the department • Handle projects with a sense of urgency based on business prioritization
🎯 Requirements
• A high school diploma / GED • 8+ years of relevant work experience in DI Insurance Underwriting • Must have an established approval limit without second signature - $20,000 per month of DI, $50,000 Business Overhead and $3,000,000 of Buy-Sell • 3+ years experience with Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
