📋 Description

• Lead how the engineering organisation builds, delivers and operates the Maia AI Data Automation platform • Set and lead the engineering productivity strategy, driving an agentic software delivery model across planning, coding, testing, review and deployment • Own the roadmap for shared engineering platforms and delivery capabilities, including CI/CD, release automation, observability and developer experience • Run the engineering operating rhythm and metrics framework, providing leadership visibility into delivery, quality, reliability and cost • Lead engineering FinOps and cloud cost optimisation with CloudOps analysts • Manage the engineering tooling portfolio, including vendor evaluation, contract negotiation and renewals • Lead a team spanning developer experience, release engineering and CloudOps • Partner with Finance, Procurement, Legal and Security

🎯 Requirements

• Significant engineering leadership experience in SaaS, cloud platform, DevOps, developer experience, SRE or engineering productivity organisations • Practical understanding of AI-assisted and agentic software development • Ideally having led a team that builds AI agents or tooling for engineers, or a genuine drive to learn it fast • Experience running engineering operations, with a track record of measuring productivity through outcomes rather than activity • Hands-on experience with cloud cost management, vendor and contract management, and technical procurement • Excellent communication and sound commercial judgement • Ability to influence engineering, finance and executive stakeholders
