📋 Description

• Build, operate, and evolve Maze’s cloud infrastructure with reliability, scalability, and security in mind • Improve observability practices and help engineers understand, debug, and operate systems in production • Partner across engineering and security to strengthen cloud security posture and operational practices • Support security and compliance initiatives, including vulnerability management, security testing, and audit readiness • Build tooling and automation to reduce manual work and improve developer experience • Bring an operational and security perspective to architecture and technical decisions • Improve preparation for, response to, and learning from production incidents • Use modern AI-assisted and agentic workflows to build, debug, and operate systems more effectively

🎯 Requirements

• Experience building and operating production systems in a modern cloud environment, ideally AWS • Understanding of modern SRE and infrastructure practices, including infrastructure as code and containerized workloads • Experience with observability, monitoring, alerting, and production visibility • Security mindset with experience or interest in cloud security, vulnerability management, application security, or related areas • Exposure to security and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001, or interest in developing deeper expertise • Ability to automate repetitive work using code and comfort working with at least one programming language • Excitement about AI-assisted development and active use of modern AI tools • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment where ownership, curiosity, and pragmatic decision-making matter • Remote preference for Netherlands, United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, or Portugal
