• Growing Tyler Union’s market share through specification efforts • Managing, maintaining, and expanding the existing distributor base • Providing quality customer service in support of sales and profitability goals • Assisting with technical questions and installation needs • Developing communication networks with distributors, engineers, and municipalities • Servicing existing accounts and communicating regularly with clients • Submitting weekly reports to management • Monitoring competition by gathering marketplace information • Participating in trade associations, including seminars and trade shows • Working with Project Manager to identify and prioritize large jobs in the region • Identifying specification targets to manage with Sales Engineer • Troubleshooting field issues and product claims • Performing miscellaneous sales and service-related duties as directed by management
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, training, and education • Previous work experience in the waterworks industry preferred • Ability for extensive domestic travel as projects and work responsibilities dictate • Strong communication, organization, and people skills • Self-motivated, assertive individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment • Ability to negotiate and close deals • Financial and analytical acuity and presentation skills • Intermediate digital literacy in Microsoft products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint required
