📋 Description

• Coordinate patient pathways, monitor progress and resolve or escalate issues that could delay care • Track patients in line with Referral to Treatment (RTT) and diagnostic waiting time (DM01) requirements • Manage enquiries from patients, GPs and clinicians, including sensitive or challenging conversations • Maintain accurate patient records and upload correspondence, reports and results promptly • Manage communications through the helpdesk and communications hub, taking appropriate action within agreed timescales • Prioritise competing tasks to meet service targets while maintaining accuracy and high standards of patient care • Rotate across teams and provide cover to support changing service demands • Contribute to improvements in processes, standard operating procedures and patient experience • Recognise and escalate concerns relating to patient safety, safeguarding or service delivery • Provide first-point-of-contact support by telephone, email and chat • Report to the Team Leader

🎯 Requirements

• At least six months’ experience in customer service or a similar role • Knowledge and understanding of RTT and DM01 reporting requirements • Excellent communication skills, with a calm, patient and empathetic approach • Strong organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail • Confidence working in a high-volume environment and managing changing priorities • Practical approach to problem solving and initiative to follow issues through • Ability to work independently from home while remaining an active, dependable team member • Confidence using multiple systems, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK • Sponsorship is not available • Appointment subject to a relevant DBS check and two satisfactory employment references, including one from the most recent employer • Private, confidential space to work from home • Flexibility to support team cover during absences and busy periods • Experience in a healthcare environment is desirable
