• Consult with patients remotely following GP referrals to Medefer • Obtain detailed information about patients' conditions • Cler k patients within the cardiology speciality via telephone assessment • Take detailed patient histories during clerking calls • Support consultants in forming patient management plans • Discuss risks and benefits of recommended surgical procedures or invasive tests • Document patients' agreement in principle before formal consent at a later stage
• Registrar with a minimum of 12 months' experience working in the NHS in Cardiology • Registered with the GMC with an active licence to practice • Interest in digital health, clinical informatics, and new ways of working • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written • Excellent time management, planning, and prioritising skills • Detail oriented, able to process detailed information effectively, consistently, and accurately • Private and secure workspace with reliable internet access • Successful candidates must complete mandatory background checks • Commitment to safeguarding practices and completion of necessary training
