📋 Description

• Design and evolve MySQL schemas to support scalable, multi-tenant architectures • Define and enforce database design standards including indexing, partitioning, and performance optimization • Optimize complex SQL queries and resolve systemic database performance issues • Implement and automate database change management, schema deployments, and migrations • Maintain replication, failover, and disaster recovery processes to ensure high availability • Monitor performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure data integrity • Support cross-platform environments including MSSQL and Snowflake integrations • Collaborate with engineering and BI teams to align data structures with reporting and analytics needs • Work within Jira workflows and use GitHub for version control and documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience) • Minimum 5 years of experience working with relational databases • Strong experience with MySQL design, performance tuning, and optimization • Experience supporting large-scale or multi-terabyte database environments • Strong SQL skills with a focus on query performance and optimization • Experience with replication, high availability, and disaster recovery • Experience with automation and Git-based workflows
