📋 Description

• Directly contribute to month end close procedures: • Prepare journal entries for multiple entities and supporting general ledger account reconciliations • Maintain detailed schedules and subledgers • Prepare and manage payroll reconciliations, fixed asset tracking, and accrual accounting • Review and validate work completed by Staff Accountant • Adhere to required internal and external reporting deadlines • Provide accurate reporting and data verification for both internal and external parties • Assist in researching and preparing technical accounting positions in conformity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles • Support periodic (monthly and quarterly) balance sheets and income state analyses • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function • Assist in preparation of external audit and tax requests • Other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting • 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience with GAAP guidelines • Public accounting experience with a recognized firm • CPA Certification • Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and their practical application • Proficiency with ERP systems, experience with NetSuite is a plus • Advanced Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables • Willingness to learn new procedures and elevate the current standards • Acute attention to detail, eager • Excellent teamwork and communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment • Motivated and coachable individual
