📋 Description

• Lead and govern the test team • Adopt and promote BDD and TDD principles • Work with Java and Node.js microservice-based architectures • Operate within squad workflows and agile delivery processes • Perform test automation from unit through system testing • Lead test activities within an agile squad • Implement test processes and tooling supporting coordinated development across multiple teams • Provide guidance to stakeholders on risk-based testing approaches • Coach other engineers and peer review their work

🎯 Requirements

• Strong Test Lead capable of managing and governing a test team • Experience and competency to lead test teams • Experience with BDD and TDD principles • Comfort working with microservice-based architecture in Java and Node.js • Knowledge of 12-factor app principles • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Experience with squad workflows, definitions of done, branching strategies, ticket refinement, documentation and peer review processes • Expertise in test automation across all test levels, from unit to system testing • Recent software development experience in addition to testing experience highly beneficial • Ability to lead test activities within an agile squad • Experience implementing test processes and tooling across multiple teams • Ability to advise stakeholders on risk-based approaches • Ability to coach engineers and peer review their work • Willingness to obtain Security Clearance • Must complete Baseline Personnel Security Standard onboarding checks • Ability to undertake some UK travel and stay away from home when required
