📋 Description

• Perform full-cycle accounting for multiple Senior Living properties (including AR, AP, GL, accruals, and financial statements). • Prepare and post journal entries related to monthly close, management fees, payroll allocations, utilities, and intercompany transactions. • Manage and reconcile resident billing, move-ins/move-outs, and care-level adjustments. • Review and analyze balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports for accuracy. • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, company policies, and internal controls. • Collaborate with property and regional teams to maintain accurate property-level financials. • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. • Support audits by preparing detailed schedules and reconciliations. • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy. • Train and mentor junior accountants, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to accounting standards.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • 5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in Senior Living or Healthcare real estate accounting. • Proven experience with multi-entity full-cycle accounting. • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes. • Hands-on experience with Yardi, Entrata, or similar property management software. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Advanced Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar). • English: Advanced / professional level (daily communication with U.S. teams).
