📋 Description

• By supporting manual and automated testing efforts the Test Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and quality of Lens Desktop. • Design, implement, and maintain a scalable test automation framework with Playwright as the primary tool. • Translate acceptance criteria into Gherkin scenarios, ensuring business goals are captured in executable tests. • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable fast and reliable feedback. • Conduct exploratory testing and risk-based analysis, focusing on critical workflows and system stability.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation. • Hands-on expertise in Playwright (mandatory). • Additional experience with similar automation tools such as Cypress or Selenium is a plus. • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for writing maintainable automated test scripts. • Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Jest-Cucumber, SpecFlow) and Gherkin syntax. • Proven track record of integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions). • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and collaborative QA practices. • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native environments is beneficial. • Relevant QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
