📋 Description

• Lead month-end revenue close process and ensure accurate revenue recognition across subscription, usage-based, and hybrid pricing models in compliance with ASC 606 • Manage and mentor a team of revenue accountants while collaborating with audit teams to ensure seamless financial reviews and compliance • Design and implement scalable revenue accounting processes and controls to support new product launches and business model evolution • Partner with Sales, Deal Desk, and Legal teams to evaluate complex customer contracts and establish proper revenue treatment for non-standard deals • Drive automation initiatives and system enhancements within the quote-to-cash process to improve accuracy and efficiency as we scale globally • Analyze revenue trends, identify discrepancies, and provide strategic insights to leadership on financial performance and business drivers • Establish and maintain revenue accounting policies, documentation, and training programs to support team growth and knowledge transfer

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of revenue accounting experience in SaaS or technology companies with subscription billing models (usage/consumption-based billing experience is a plus) • Proven track record leading process improvements in quote-to-cash operations or establishing revenue recognition frameworks for new product offerings • Experience mentoring junior staff or managing small teams with ability to develop talent in fast-paced, high-growth environments • Advanced analytical skills with ability to work with large datasets and identify revenue discrepancies or trends • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex accounting concepts clearly • Experience with Salesforce; familiarity with ERP and billing systems (NetSuite and Stripe experience are a plus) • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience with strong technical knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards (CPA preferred but not required)
