• Support development of Mission’s solar and battery storage projects. • Work closely with cross-functional groups including finance, engineering, GIS, real estate, permitting, etc. • Manage project development plans, schedules, and budgets. • Conduct market analysis and research, and due diligence of new sites. • Coordinate contractors and vendors to obtain various work products. • Support RFP responses as needed. • Identify and prioritize target greenfield sites and acquisition targets. • Guide real estate/land acquisition on target greenfield sites. • Track project risk throughout the development cycle and provide assessments to management.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in business, planning, engineering, environmental or finance related fields. • Solar and/or battery project development experience preferred. • A foundational understanding of renewable energy markets and project lifecycle preferred. • Project skills including creating and managing project budgets and schedules. • Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously, with varying complexities and urgencies. • Excellent people, entrepreneurial, organizational and analytical skills. • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and professional communication and presentation skills. • Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint, and Smartsheet. Knowledge of ArcGIS a plus. • A valid driving license. • Ability and willingness to travel within the United States as much as 25% of the time, or as required by project needs.
