📋 Description

• Own end-to-end documentation and improvement of how Mission Lane develops and deploys models across all business verticals • Build the current-state process map • Close undocumented handoff gaps • Establish pipeline visibility for teams across data science, credit, risk, and compliance • Drive meaningful process improvements, such as changing sequencing, reducing coordination overhead, or surfacing dependency problems before rework • Own the process playbook for model development, credit policy updates, and related approval flows from documentation through active maintenance • Maintain a centralized view of all models in flight • Document handoff ownership at every stage of development and deployment • Serve as operational point of contact for 2nd line credit and model risk management bank oversight • Report to the Principal Program Manager

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in process improvement, project coordination, or program operations in financial services, fintech, or a data-heavy environment • Comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams • Ability to work effectively with data scientists and compliance officers • Clear, direct written and verbal communication • Ability to make ownership, status, and next steps unambiguous • Track record of documenting and improving processes, identifying root causes, and driving lasting fixes • Experience calibrating escalation to leadership • Ability to understand how models are built and deployed • Experience working across compliance, risk, engineering, and operations • Ability to engage stakeholders early, explain the rationale for process changes, and build adoption • Mission Lane is not sponsoring new applicant employment authorization
