📋 Description

• Lead complex cases, particularly pension consolidation, drawdown and multiple-pot cases, before advice is presented to customers • Ensure engine-generated plans have accurate, complete and clear suitability reports covering objectives, recommendations, risks, costs and rationale • Conduct pre-meeting case reviews with Advisors and identify issues in fact finds or plans • Support Advisors during QA review of engine-generated plans • Develop and maintain suitability report templates and wording for the advice engine, including disclosures aligned with House Rules and governance protocols • Own day-to-day suitability report quality and provide feedback on evolving standards • Collaborate with the Head of Proposition and Advisor Management System product team to improve workflows, fact-find prompts and evidence capture • Convert QA, audit and compliance findings into team training and case coaching • Coach and develop less experienced Paraplanners through case studies, feedback and qualification support • Help define standards for paraplanning in a digital-first model • Triage work across the Paraplanner team with the Head of Proposition, balancing complexity, SLAs and capacity • Contribute to advice policy and House Rules discussions • Support Risk & Compliance with monitoring, root-cause analysis and remediation • Act as technical contact for Money Guides and Financial Advisers on complex queries and guidance/advice boundaries • Work with Advisors on cases and post-meeting documentation, and with engine and AMS product teams on tooling • Participate in QA huddles, suitability report workshops and team learning sessions

🎯 Requirements

• Substantial paraplanning experience in a regulated advice firm, ideally including pension consolidation and drawdown cases • Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4), with appetite to keep building qualifications • Strong technical knowledge of UK pensions, ISAs, investment products, and the tax treatment of each • High standard of written quality; suitability reports must be clear and understandable to customers • Experience coaching, mentoring or leading other paraplanners • Comfortable working with structured data, advice software and a digital case file • AF7 or equivalent advanced pension qualifications (desirable) • Chartered or working towards Chartered status (desirable) • Experience contributing to or owning templates, checklists or advice logic in a scaled-advice or robo environment (desirable)
