📋 Description

• Own delivery and execution within the Site Reliability Engineering tooling team • Evaluate product requirements for feasibility and alignment with existing product architecture • Translate requirements into EPICs and technical stories • Work with Product Managers and Engineers to refine and groom tasks • Plan and organize sprints with defined goals, timelines, delivery milestones, and task dependencies • Foster engineering processes that promote collaboration and teamwork • Track team velocity and allocate resources according to task demands • Coordinate stakeholder alignment and manage dependencies to prevent bottlenecks • Apply appropriate design patterns and coding techniques to critical projects • Participate in code reviews and uphold high-quality standards • Ensure monitoring and observability for owned services, meeting defined SLIs/SLOs • Partner with Product Managers to track and publish post-deployment product metrics • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback • Lead project status reviews and manage expectations between teams and leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role • 5+ years of Node JS / Python experience • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog management • Expertise breaking down complex product requirements into EPICs, Stories, and Tasks • Solid experience with backend technologies • Knowledge of project planning tools for visualizing and tracking delivery timelines • Familiarity with engineering metrics and monitoring tools • Capability to debug complex technical issues during incidents and run blameless RCA sessions • Understanding of deployment pipelines, continuous integration (CI), continuous deployment (CD), and related metrics • Ability to align diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ability to manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and communicate clearly with stakeholders • Proven track record of improving team velocity and fostering efficient delivery • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • Experience managing and mentoring engineers • Ability to assess bandwidth and manage resource distribution • Experience conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback • Ability to lead project status reviews and manage stakeholder expectations
