📋 Description
• Own the architecture of Motional’s ML data infrastructure • Design and evolve infrastructure to support petabyte-scale machine learning workflows • Architect high-throughput systems for distributed training • Establish robust data governance and retention strategies • Collaborate with ML engineers and researchers • Lead technical strategy and roadmap for the team • Mentor and influence engineers across teams
🎯 Requirements
• 15+ years of meaningful software engineering experience • Proven experience leading the design of ML platforms • Deep technical fluency in distributed storage and data pipelines • Strong knowledge of Linux systems and performance-oriented languages • Experience in hybrid environments: bare metal, HPC, and public cloud • Comfortable owning cross-org initiatives • Prior work in robotics or autonomous vehicles strongly preferred
