📋 Description

• The Systems Engineering Group Lead will be responsible for leading a team of Engineers in the public safety design and implementation of solutions for Motorola’s ASTRO 25 systems and adjacent technologies for State and Local government agencies. • In the team leadership role, the Group Lead will support administrative functions, make project assignment decisions, and provide technical oversight to ensure project milestones are met. • They will supervise their Systems Engineering field team to ensure systems designs comply with engineering best practices and will work with the project teams comprised of Project Management, Systems Engineers, System Technologists, Construction Managers, and Customer Service Managers to ensure successful project delivery through final system acceptance.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or technical discipline and 8+ years of engineering or technical experience OR 10+ years of engineering or technical experience • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. • Certifications a plus through CompTIA Network+, Juniper JNCIA-Junos, Nokia NRS1, CCNA or similar a plus.
