📋 Description

• Serve as the highest level of technical escalation for complex customer issues • Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of critical incidents • Provide technical guidance across engineering and mentor engineers and Service Desk staff • Establish and maintain engineering standards, processes, documentation, and best practices • Advise on customer CAB, Security Committee, and AI Committee discussions • Participate in technical strategy, roadmap planning, and budgeting • Architect and support Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and related services • Design and administer Microsoft Entra ID identity and access solutions, including Conditional Access, MFA, compliance, and Zero Trust controls • Design, deploy, and optimize Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Microsoft Defender solutions • Design and maintain Azure environments, including virtual machines, networking, storage, backups, migrations, integrations, governance, security, and cost optimization • Support hybrid cloud/on-premises integrations, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions • Assist customers with cloud transformation, migrations, modernization, and complex Microsoft troubleshooting • Lead medium and large-scale customer projects from technical discovery and architecture through implementation and handoff • Coordinate technical work across internal engineers, partners, contractors, and vendors • Build Bills of Materials and provide technical scoping and content for Statements of Work • Develop implementation plans, technical documentation, standards, and project deliverables • Coordinate with Project Managers, customer stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners • Participate in onboarding, infrastructure refreshes, migrations, modernization, and strategic technology initiatives • Build trusted technical-advisor relationships with customers • Present technical recommendations, architecture, and solution designs to technical and non-technical audiences • Assist account/SAM teams with technical assessments, solution development, roadmaps, budgets, and business reviews

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of IT engineering experience; MSP, consulting, multi-location, or large endpoint environments strongly preferred • 5+ years supporting Microsoft cloud and infrastructure technologies • Deep practical experience across Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, IAM, Conditional Access, MFA, endpoint security, Windows Server, virtualization, backup/DR, cybersecurity, and networking fundamentals • Proven experience leading technical projects, complex implementations, escalations, and architecture decisions • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, written, verbal, presentation, mentoring, and customer-facing skills • Ability to use AI, automation, PowerShell, and modern engineering practices • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or comparable Azure certification preferred • Microsoft security, identity, endpoint, or enterprise administration certifications preferred • Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Meraki ECMS, or equivalent networking certification preferred • CISSP, CCSP, Security+, or equivalent security certification preferred • ITIL Foundation or comparable service-management experience preferred • U.S.-based candidates only • Willingness to undergo a background check
