• Process supplier payments and manage Xero and Airwallex payment flows • Process customer refunds and employee expenses • Calculate and send local host payments, including multi-currency transfers • Liaise with Operations and Expansion teams and handle host queries • Perform bank reconciliations and credit control • Support revenue accounting, including commission calculations, cancellation accounting entries, deferred revenue, true-ups, and booking-system reconciliations • Support month-end tasks, including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals/prepayments, and fixed asset postings • Prepare departmental spend and people-cost reporting files • Support payroll administration and maintain PayFit/Xero inputs • Prepare and file VAT returns • Support audits by preparing working files and responding to auditor queries and sample requests • Maintain clean data flow between booking systems, payment systems, and Xero; flag version-control and data-quality issues
• Growth mindset and genuine interest in developing toward fuller management accounting responsibility • Broader experiences and maturity; specific finance exposure or training is not necessarily required • Ability to work independently in a remote environment • Organised, self-motivated, and good time-management skills • Positive attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed • High attention to detail and diligent, thorough approach to numbers • Strong team-player mentality and frequent Slack communication • Good Google Sheets/Excel skills
