📋 Description

• Own reliability across production services and maintain security in the software delivery pipeline • Define and evolve SLI/SLO and error-budget frameworks to influence prioritization and product decisions • Lead incident response, drive postmortems, and implement systemic fixes • Build and maintain observability across metrics, logs, and traces using Datadog • Design and operate resilient, scalable infrastructure using Terraform • Manage production Kubernetes and container workloads, including capacity planning and cloud-cost optimization • Own CI/CD pipelines and safe deployment strategies, including canary releases, progressive rollouts, and fast rollback • Integrate and tune SAST, DAST, and SCA scanning in delivery pipelines • Implement and maintain policy-as-code using tools such as OPA/Rego, Kyverno, or Conftest • Drive vulnerability triage and remediation SLAs for pipeline and infrastructure findings • Partner with Security Engineering and broader Security & Reliability disciplines • Participate in and improve the on-call rotation; build sustainable runbooks and automation • Coach team members and engineers across the organization on reliability and operational best practices

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in site reliability, platform, or infrastructure engineering, with senior-level ownership of production systems • Strong programming skills for automation and tooling using Go, Python, TypeScript, or similar • Experience building software or custom tooling, not just scripts • Deep hands-on experience with a major cloud platform, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code • Proven experience leading incident response and building SLO-driven reliability practices • Working fluency with observability tooling • Practical experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines, including SAST/DAST/SCA tooling, dependency scanning, or policy-as-code • Strong understanding of cloud security fundamentals, including identity/IAM, least-privilege patterns, policies/guardrails, and secrets management • Judgment and communication skills to raise security or reliability findings and collaborate on solutions • Experience with policy-as-code frameworks enforced at admission time is a plus • Exposure to regulated or compliance-driven environments such as SOC 2, PCI DSS, or HIPAA is a plus • Chaos engineering or game-day experience is a plus • Experience supporting B2C/mobile backend environments with high traffic and strong reliability needs is a plus
