📋 Description

• Own internal IT at Nabu Casa • Ensure globally distributed employees using macOS, Windows and Linux have secure, reliable computers, accounts and tools • Work with the Cloud engineering team to keep the server landscape secure and well maintained • Help colleagues set up computers, enforce security policy and resolve day-to-day IT issues • Run identity and access management, including Google Workspace, SSO, MFA and password management • Maintain internal systems and employee software • Maintain and secure servers, including Linux administration and firewall configuration • Automate provisioning, configuration, patching and offboarding with Ansible and scripting • Own configuration, licences and costs for internal tools such as Slack, Google Workspace and Jira • Define and maintain the internal security baseline and run access reviews • Maintain alignment with GDPR and relevant security frameworks • Respond to internal security incidents and lead follow-up • Document systems, runbooks and self-service guides in the handbook • Report to the CFO based in Switzerland

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience in IT administration or systems administration, ideally supporting a remote or distributed team • Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation • Strong Linux administration skills, including firewall configuration • Experience supporting users across macOS, Windows and Linux • Experience administering Google Workspace, SSO, MFA and password management tools • Solid understanding of endpoint and identity security • Scripting skills, such as Bash or Python • Clear written communication in English • Patience when helping colleagues with different levels of technical knowledge • Ability to work independently, prioritise and stay calm when things go wrong • Experience with infrastructure as code and orchestration tools such as Terraform or Nomad • Working knowledge of GDPR and security frameworks • Experience managing SaaS vendors, licences and renewals • Experience with device management (MDM) tools • Familiarity with Home Assistant or the open-source smart home world
