📋 Description

• Audit the existing identity estate, including on-premises AD and third-party identity providers, and design the target-state Microsoft Entra ID architecture • Plan and execute phased or staged identity migration cutovers while minimizing disruption to live services • Configure and manage synchronization between on-premises and cloud environments using Microsoft Entra Connect or Entra Cloud Sync • Implement MFA, Conditional Access policies, and passwordless sign-in aligned with Zero Trust principles • Migrate or re-establish enterprise application SSO using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC • Implement Privileged Identity Management, Entitlement Management, access packages, and Access Reviews • Monitor sign-in and audit logs and identity protection signals during and after migration • Troubleshoot migration issues and provide cutover support • Produce operational runbooks and complete handover to the operations team • Operate as a trusted technical advisor and delivery lead within client environments

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience delivering a migration onto Microsoft Entra ID, formerly Azure AD, from on-premises AD DS or a third-party IdP such as Okta, Ping, or ForgeRock • Strong working knowledge of Conditional Access, Zero Trust security models, SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC • Confident PowerShell scripting for identity lifecycle automation, ideally using the Microsoft Graph PowerShell SDK • Ability to work independently and communicate migration risks and status to non-technical stakeholders • KQL for log analysis in Microsoft Sentinel or Azure Monitor is desirable • Experience with Entra ID B2B/B2C is desirable • Background with ForgeRock, Ping, or Okta is desirable • SC-300, SC-100, SC-500, or CISSP certifications are nice to have but not mandatory
