📋 Description

• Engineer network infrastructure for the VMware-based private cloud to support customers and strategic targets • Collaborate with component owners to create roadmaps and manage the lifecycle of network components • Consider customer feedback, new feature requests, and production issues • Select, create, and maintain NSX network components • Ensure solutions comply with the bank’s requirements and responsibilities • Collaborate with vendors and Cloud Infrastructure to identify solutions and enhance performance using technology tools • Provide operational support for pattern- or product-related issues • Contribute to delivery of infrastructure-as-code network solutions • Build awareness of design-thinking tools and techniques across the bank • Work with key stakeholders to deliver the best possible service

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in NSX and network engineering • Knowledge of network deployment, distributed firewalls, and troubleshooting • Understanding of Agile working practices and toolsets • Ability to create the vision for the Release Train, feature team, platform, and domain • Experience developing CI/CD pipelines using modern tooling • Experience with network testing practices and tools • Experience with observability tools and techniques • Knowledge of private cloud technologies such as IaaS, PaaS, and VSAN • Experience working with technology deployed in a private cloud • Strong collaborative and communication skills • Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly • Flexibility to support the team out of hours and on weekends when needed • Software development or automation scripting, such as Python or Shell, is advantageous but not essential
