📋 Description

• Assume primary responsibility for core accounting functions, internal controls, transactions, and journal entries • Provide monthly GAAP-compliant financial reports to Management and the Board of Directors, including budget variance analysis • Prepare finance-related reports for government agencies as needed • Support operational forecasts and cash flow updates • Lead month-end and year-end close and progress reporting for key performance indicators • Coordinate the annual business plan, staffing plans, and budgets • Coordinate budgets and financial forecasts using ERP analytics for variance analysis • Manage audits and liaise with external auditors • Maintain investment records and analyze performance • Maintain fixed asset accounting records and custodial information • Facilitate accounting and project work for mergers, acquisitions, investments, banking relationships, partnerships, and divestitures • Serve as primary point of contact for auditors and regulatory bodies • Coordinate annual financial audits and financial aspects of other operational audits • Conduct financial and operational analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and strategic recommendations • Participate in multi-departmental task forces to improve cross-functional activities • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is required • Master’s degree in accounting or related field of study is preferred • Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is highly preferred • 8+ years’ experience in a third-party-administrator operation related to health care required • 5+ years of leadership experience with a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing accounting teams required • Demonstrated expertise in GAAP/IFRS compliance and financial reporting standards required • Proven advanced experience with utilizing financial analytics tools and like programs required • Experience using automated billing platforms and integration with ERP systems required • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives • Ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees • Must be a resident of Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Wisconsin • Monday–Friday availability, 8am–5pm CT
