• Support Navitus' client acquisition and retention efforts by drafting responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other sales-related documents for a variety of client audiences • Perform sales support activities including project coordination (planning, scheduling, organizing, and coordination), follow-up correspondence, and reporting • Utilize expert-level editorial, grammatical, and writing skills to ensure written deliverables demonstrate tactical, strategic, financial, and sales-capture decisions • Proficiently understand and continuously develop knowledge of business units' target markets and trends and how products/services are utilized • Utilize strong project management skills to initiate, collect, and deliver on analytical tasks in collaboration with cross-functional SMEs • Demonstrate attention to detail and strong time management by developing and adhering to stringent timelines • Support proposal content management and department processes to keep materials current and competitive • Contribute to departmental efficiency and effectiveness, including identifying and providing insights into streamlining processes • Report to the Manager or Sr. Manager, Proposals and interface with various individuals throughout the organization • Other duties as assigned
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in English, Journalism, or a Communications-related field, and/or commensurate proposal management experience required • Writing samples and writing test required • A minimum combination of two years’ experience writing creative, concise, strategically correct, and persuasive proposals • A minimum combination of two years’ experience developing and implementing complex winning business strategies while incorporating a consultative-sales approach • A minimum combination of two years’ experience delivering quality outputs in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment with tight time frames and strict deadlines • A minimum combination of two years’ experience in strategic proposal content development and project management or similar related experience • Experience with Microsoft Office products at the advanced level • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
