📋 Description

• Deliver NEC Software Solutions into live operational service across the customer portfolio • Build, commission, and upgrade bespoke Communication and CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch) product solutions in customer environments or hosted data centres • Troubleshoot the product suite at hardware and software levels • Create, review, and update engineering documentation, including workplans, work instructions, and technical guides • Liaise with internal teams to coordinate activities and exchange required information • Work on customer sites across varied locations, with extensive travel and overnight stays • Provide technical and non-technical customer contact with a professional and adaptable approach • Work collaboratively and autonomously as project requirements dictate • Follow NEC Software Solutions processes and procedures • Complete activities within deadlines and report delivery difficulties • Maintain professional standards, clean working environments, and compliance with health and safety practices

🎯 Requirements

• Applicants must have lived in the UK for 5 consecutive years or more due to security clearance requirements • Pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK; documentary evidence required • Satisfactory vetting and reference checks required; DBS check may be required depending on the role • Experience in troubleshooting and problem solving • Good understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and domain architecture • Proven experience administering Microsoft Windows 11 and Windows Server up to 2022 • Proven experience deploying Microsoft Windows and server operating systems • Proven experience deploying Microsoft Windows Updates (WSUS) • Working knowledge of MySQL/MSSQL, including running backups and queries • Proven knowledge and experience of virtualisation environments such as Hyper-V or VMware • Experience with MS Business Applications, including Excel, Visio, and Word • Excellent customer service skills • Proven experience working to ITIL best practices
