📋 Description

• Craft persuasive and well-structured propositions, proposals, and tender documents aligned with strategic goals and customer needs • Develop high-quality bid, proposal, and tender content articulating solutions, benefits, and value propositions • Align bid content with NEC messaging, branding, and strategic objectives • Tailor content to individual clients and contract opportunities • Write compelling narratives highlighting NEC strengths, differentiators, and capabilities while addressing client pain points • Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and consistency • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Legal, Subject Matter Experts, solution leads, and proposition leads • Gather input, insights, best practices, answers, and relevant content for bid responses • Manage bid timelines with the assigned Bid Manager and ensure submissions meet deadlines • Collect tender-outcome feedback to improve content, processes, and win rates • Ensure content meets quality, compliance, and accuracy standards • Record responses and feedback according to knowledge management processes and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a proposition, proposal and bid writer and reviewer, with a successful track record of crafting persuasive bid content, proposals, and tender documents • Strong writing and editing skills • Exceptional attention to detail and grammar • Ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively • Familiarity with bid management processes and knowledge management systems • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bid management software, including emerging AI enabled tools • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment • Excellent project management and deadline management skills • Excellent communication skills • Experience collecting and implementing feedback to improve bid content and win rates • Pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK • Satisfactory vetting, references, and occupational health checks required • Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check may be required depending on the role
