📋 Description

• Install, configure, tune and optimize PostgreSQL databases • Manage backup, recovery, replication, clustering and disaster recovery • Handle database security, patching, upgrades and migrations • Administer SaaS platforms, SSO, IAM and user lifecycles • Monitor systems, automate processes, respond to incidents and manage vendors • Administer cloud platforms and Linux servers • Maintain documentation, compliance and continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrable PostgreSQL DBA experience • Expertise in SQL, performance tuning and high availability • Linux administration experience • SaaS platform administration experience • Azure knowledge • Scripting with Bash, Python or PowerShell • Security and compliance best practices • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Relevant PostgreSQL, cloud or Linux certifications desirable • Docker and Kubernetes desirable • Terraform or Ansible desirable • DevOps and CI/CD practices desirable • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS environments desirable • Pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK; documentary evidence required • Satisfactory vetting, references and occupational health checks required; DBS check may also be required depending on the role
