📋 Description

• Undertake fire risk assessments for customers • Make necessary recommendations verbally on site and document them in formal reports • Deliver excellent fire risk assessment reports • Act as a key customer contact during site visits • Positively influence customers’ perception of the company • Demonstrate industry-leading fire safety knowledge to produce compliant assessments • Produce accurate and efficient paperwork • Collaborate with the admin team to develop effective working practices • Apply best-practice methods when executing fire risk assessments • Take responsibility for service quality for fire risk assessment customers and staff • Keep current with fire legislation and apply it to assessments

🎯 Requirements

• Evidence of experience and IFE / IFSM certification • Full understanding of current legislation relating to The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 • Full understanding of relevant British Standards relating to fire and life safety systems • Professional communication skills • Ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships • Ability to produce high-quality work and reports • Effective organisation and on-time report delivery • Experience carrying out assessments for Commercial, Industrial and Domestic buildings; 2 redacted FRA reports requested • Excellent computer/electronic device skills • Proven previous experience completing Fire Risk Assessments • Accredited to “Member” level with the Institute of Fire Engineers or Institute of Fire Safety Managers, or on the IFSM or IFE “competent risk assessor” register • High levels of literacy and written communication skills • Excellent verbal communication skills • Ability to plan and organise workloads to meet service-delivery timeframes • Full UK driving licence • Desirable: additional recognised professional qualification in fire safety management and fire risk assessments from credible providers, including Fire Protection Association, Fire Industry Association, or NEBOSH Fire
