📋 Description

• Inspect cavities, loft spaces, below-floor voids, ceilings and boxed-in areas • Communicate with customers in a friendly manner • Apply working knowledge of Rockwool, Hilti and Quelfire products • Use reporting systems including Bolster and One Serve • Maintain accurate records • Deliver passive fire protection surveys to a high standard, on time and within budget • Support other members of the compartmentation team • Manage multiple tasks, prioritise work and maintain attention to detail • Help keep people safe in homes and occupied premises

🎯 Requirements

• Surveying experience of private and public sector properties • Full UK driving licence • High attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • IT literate, including Microsoft Suite and tablets/PDAs • Relevant professional qualification, such as Certificate in Applied Fire Risk Assessment, or significant experience in Fire Safety Management • Evidence of professional and specialist technical skills relating to Fire Safety Management • Detailed knowledge of current regulations and best practice • Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation and guidance within the social housing sector • Knowledge of Approved Document B and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 • Experience delivering passive fire protection surveys to a high standard, on time and within budget • Level NVQ2 in Passive Fire Protection (stated as essential) • Desirable: FIRAS Card Holder at Supervisory or Technician level • Desirable: IOSH Managing Safely • Desirable: PASMA • Desirable: Emergency First Aid • Desirable: Asbestos Awareness
