📋 Description

• Inspect cavities, loft spaces, below-floor voids, ceilings, and boxed-in areas • Communicate with customers in a friendly manner • Use working knowledge of Rockwool, Hilti, and Quelfire products • Use reporting systems including Bolster and One Serve • Maintain accurate records • Deliver passive fire protection surveys to a high standard, on time and within budget • Support other members of the compartmentation team • Manage multiple tasks and prioritise work • Survey fire compartmentation and fire stopping in occupied premises across schools, colleges, universities, hospitals, care homes, housing association, council, private-sector, and public-sector properties

🎯 Requirements

• Surveying experience of private and public sector properties • Full UK driving license • High attention to detail • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • IT literate, with ability to use Microsoft Suite and tablets/PDAs • Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation and guidance within the social housing sector • Essential knowledge of Approved Document B and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 • Relevant professional qualification, such as Certificate in Applied Fire Risk Assessment, or significant experience in Fire Safety Management • Evidence of professional and specialist technical skills relating to Fire Safety Management • Detailed knowledge of current regulations and best practice • Experience delivering passive fire protection surveys to a high standard, on time and within budget • Level NVQ2 in Passive Fire Protection (Essential) • FIRAS Card Holder (Supervisory or Technician Level) desirable • IOSH Managing Safely desirable • PASMA desirable • Emergency First Aid desirable • Asbestos Awareness desirable
