📋 Description

• Build APIs for intuitive user interaction with complex data • Design secure, scalable access control systems for mission-critical environments • Orchestrate workflows to automate graph analytics, inference, and real-time insights • Optimize application performance and collaborate with other engineers to ensure seamless user experiences • Contribute to architecture and technical design with the team • Shape the core intelligence of GraphAware Hume, Neo4j's graph-powered analytics platform

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in backend systems (8+ years) with exposure to large-scale, complex applications and cross-functional teams • Fluency in Java • Understanding of Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Test-Driven Development (TDD) • Advanced debugging and profiling techniques • Ability to write composable, maintainable, and testable code • Experience with Spring or similar frameworks • Experience building secure, modular, and scalable APIs • Experience designing relational data models, such as PostgreSQL • Ideally, experience designing graph-based data models, such as Neo4j or similar • Working knowledge of modern CI/CD pipelines • Experience with containerization, including Docker • Knowledge of automated deployment workflows • Practical knowledge of secure software design and common vulnerabilities, such as OWASP • Comfortable with remote team collaboration and asynchronous communication tools and practices • Bonus familiarity with Cypher, Neo4j, knowledge graphs, event-driven architectures, Kafka, distributed systems, cloud-native development, observability, performance tuning, LLMs, or AI/ML production integrations
