📋 Description

• Provide programme management leadership, structure and discipline for complex, high-profile programmes • Support delivery of major live events with immovable deadlines • Work across functional teams and Initiative Owners • Create and maintain the integrated programme picture • Make priorities, milestones, dependencies, decisions, risks and commitments visible and actively managed • Establish programme operating rhythm, governance structure and appropriate controls • Challenge incomplete thinking, assumptions and plans while protecting delegated ownership and accountability • Facilitate cross-functional discussions and help teams navigate competing priorities and delivery challenges • Maintain RAID, change control, readiness and decision-management processes • Partner closely with the Managing Director, Major Events & Strategic Delivery • Challenge priorities, focus and delegation when it improves programme outcomes • Engage in relevant detail, frame decisions and drive action while maintaining strong programme relationships

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of programme management experience • Advanced experience managing multiple interconnected projects as part of a coordinated programme • Demonstrated success leading large, complex, multi-functional programmes with significant executive visibility • Strong expertise in integrated planning, critical path management, RAID, dependency management, governance, change control and readiness management • Experience working on programmes with demanding or immovable delivery dates • Experience within live events, broadcast, sports, entertainment, technology or similarly complex environments is highly desirable • Excellent executive communication skills • Ability to turn complex programme information into clear, concise and decision-oriented narratives • Confidence facilitating challenging conversations and constructively holding senior stakeholders and peers accountable without relying on direct authority • Strong judgement about functional resolution, Managing Director involvement and executive escalation • Ability to create structure in a fast-moving and evolving environment without unnecessary process or bureaucracy • Exceptional follow-through and attention to material delivery details • Collaborative, pragmatic and calm approach under pressure • Ability to hold a position while remaining open to better evidence or solutions • Ability to travel, including internationally • PMP certification strongly preferred
