📋 Description

• Lead a platform engineering team that builds products for engineers and product partners • Build strong relationships with Design, Product, UI Engineering, and foundational partners • Build and support a team of senior software engineers • Bring partners and the business along by illustrating the value and impact of the team’s work • Empower, challenge, and coach team members to grow their impact as individual technical leaders • Provide team members with context and continuous feedback • Understand, advocate, and demonstrate Netflix values • Enable engineers to create streaming UIs used by hundreds of millions of members across devices worldwide • Define project scope, debate architecture, identify trade-offs, and guide implementation details

• Experience leading in product or UI engineering domains • Passion for serving engineers as customers • Interest in developer experience industry trends • Ability to empower engineers and understand their use cases • Ability to identify solutions thoughtfully and make trade-offs • Understanding that languages, frameworks, or libraries are means to an end • Curiosity, growth orientation, and collaboration • Customer-centric approach, including listening, learning, and adapting • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills • Primarily JavaScript and TypeScript stack familiarity is relevant to the team
