• Perform commissioning, start-up, and training for new equipment at customer facilities, including installation checks, functional testing, operational checks, machine maintenance and operation training • Work primarily with the latest technologies of all Business Fields • Provide timely and accurate service at customer sites, including installation, commissioning, and repair of NETZSCH’s fine grinding and dispersing machines • Troubleshoot issues and consult with customers • Train customer maintenance and operations personnel in proper operating and maintenance procedures • Communicate with customers and technical specialists at headquarters in Germany • Document project progress and provide status updates as required
• Degree in engineering, a related technical field or equivalent training/experience in a technical field such as a mechanical, electrical, or similar field • Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine maintenance • Previous field service experience preferred • Solid electrical and mechanical knowledge; experience in process technology is a plus • Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics and flow charts; familiarity with the metric system required • In-depth knowledge of fine grinding and dispersing equipment maintenance, as well as general maintenance techniques, is desirable • Proficiency in computer use (e.g. MS Office, service tools); valid driver’s license required • High flexibility and willingness to travel up to 70-80% throughout UK • Strong customer-facing communication skills and a preference for hands-on interaction with clients; fluent English required • Culturally sensitive, respectful, and values friendly, collaborative interactions with colleagues and customers
