• Minimum 5 years’ journalism experience, with editorial leadership or team management responsibilities. • Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field. • Exceptional news judgment, editing, and headline-writing skills. • Experience leading breaking news coverage, as well as producing, editing, and publishing breaking news stories. • Strong familiarity with SEO, analytics, visual storytelling, and trending content tools. • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. • Proactive, organized, and adaptable; adept at both collaboration and independent work. • Experience managing or working within digital newsrooms, including remote or hybrid teams. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
