• Preparation of all required non-profit 990 tax returns, including Form 990, 990-EZ, 990-N and 990-T forms and any related applicable state forms • Identifies tax credits and deductions available to non-profit organizations • Ensures client work is performed within time, scope, and budget • Manages engagement and client expectations, ensures satisfaction, and communicates upward to assigned Supervisor • Researches and reviews work papers for various book to tax differences • Ability to apply relevant tax law to particular clients and circumstances • Demonstrates an understanding of and applies tax planning concepts • Strong knowledge of tax codes, regulations, rulings, and case law • Review research findings, tax returns, and client tax work papers to ensure conclusions are consistent with firm policies and professional standards • Understands and follows all firm policies, AICPA ethics rules, Circular 230, 6694, and other professional standards • Additional duties as assigned
• Undergraduate degree required; Master’s preferred • Active CPA License required • 1-3 years of tax experience is preferred • Comprehensive understanding of tax code/rules and implications • Experience preparing returns and researching more complex tax issues • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
