📋 Description

• Manage the full lifecycle of ocean export shipments for an assigned customer base, from receiving instructions to final file closure • Prepare, review, and process export documentation including SLI, bills of lading, delivery orders, certificates of origin, insurance certificates, and export declarations through GS-NET and CargoWise • Ensure documents meet company, carrier, and government deadlines and comply with domestic and international shipping regulations • Arrange, book, and confirm cargo space with carriers • Coordinate vessel schedules and provide shipment notifications to shippers, consignees, and destination offices • Serve as a point of contact for customers, provide proactive updates, and resolve shipment queries • Escalate irregularities and operational challenges to the Supervisor or Manager • Calculate freight and insurance charges, maintain cost efficiency, and finalize shipment files • Work with internal teams to maintain accurate records, support operational KPIs, and uphold service levels • Support the department with other operational tasks as required

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in freight forwarding or a degree in logistics, with a solid grasp of ocean-export concepts, practices, and documentation standards • Strong professional English for communication with customers, carriers, customs, and internal teams • Ability to present and influence effectively at all organizational levels • Confidence working with freight management systems and MS Office • Familiarity with CargoWise is a plus • Ability to organize, prepare, and assemble documents from multiple data sources while maintaining accuracy and compliance • Skilled at multitasking, prioritizing, and working under pressure • Ability to balance independence with strong teamwork • Clear, service-oriented communication and commitment to supporting customers throughout the export process • High attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and ability to take initiative in a fast-moving operational environment
