📋 Description

• Oversee and maintain all network devices, ensuring continuous operation and optimal performance • Design and enhance network architecture to support evolving business needs • Manage the full lifecycle of network hardware, from procurement to decommissioning • Develop and refine routing policies and procedures to optimize network performance • Review firewall and switch configurations for security and performance compliance • Implement and maintain firewalls with HA/Clustering in regulated environments (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA) • Perform root cause analyses and implement solutions to improve resilience and prevent recurrence • Continuously test, monitor, and document network performance • Participate in the on-call rotation for timely incident response • Contribute to proactive network improvements using observability data

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing and configuring network devices (Juniper, Fortinet) in high-availability environments • 3+ years of VPN administration experience supporting 500+ users • 3+ years of experience with network security and regulatory compliance (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA) • Expertise with BGP and OSPF routing protocols across multi-site WANs • Strong technical documentation and troubleshooting skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Experience with F5 LTM, Palo Alto GlobalProtect, and advanced firewall/WAF solutions (e.g., Cloudflare, Akamai) • JNCIS certification or higher • Experience designing and managing cloud networks (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash/ZSH) for automation • Hands-on experience administering IPS devices and working in regulated, complex environments • Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers
