• Engage in sales to merchants and assist team in selling • Recruiting, hiring, training, and motivating salesperson • Coordinating with Marketing in lead creation and marketing plans • Monitor performance of salespersons including KPIs and quotas • Participate in the development of the sales strategy to drive achievement of performance and financial objectives at both the individual and team level • Monitor and stay informed on the industry sales initiatives and trends, to provide recommendations for product development, program enhancements, process changes, etc. • Provide input for creation of incentive/campaigns and help coordinate the rollout of such campaigns • Work with Marketing to develop and analyze success of the campaigns and initiatives • Understand the business and drive accountability for results through policies, procedures and efficiency initiatives
• High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred • 3+ years experience leading a self-prospecting sales team in the payments industry • Experience with high risk merchant sales preferred
