📋 Description

• Conduct welfare audits across hatcheries and slaughter facilities • Review pre‑audit information, complete audits in line with scheme requirements • Produce accurate, comprehensive and timely written reports • Communicate findings clearly and professionally with suppliers and client representatives

🎯 Requirements

• Lead Auditor qualification (ISO) – mandatory. • Minimum 5 years’ experience (Scheme requirement) in agriculture, poultry, red meat, hatchery or related welfare roles, with strong practical on‑farm experience (scheme requirement). • HND or Degree in Agriculture or a related discipline • Strong understanding of welfare legislation and assurance schemes • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail • Flexibility to travel internationally and within the UK • Ability to travel independently to audit sites, including locations not accessible by public transport. A full UK driving licence is required to meet the travel needs of the role. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
