📋 Description

• Provide end-to-end support to the Head of Pricing across product pricing, pricing governance, fair value assessments, commercial deal management, and profitability analysis • Act as second in command and delegate to the Head of Pricing • Serve as a key point person for Finance, Risk, Product, Strategy, Commercial and Operations partners • Develop and maintain the firm's pricing strategy and pricing framework • Identify enhancements and drive continuous improvement in the pricing function • Ensure pricing policies, methodologies and controls remain fit for purpose and aligned with regulatory expectations • Provide content for governance forums such as the Customer Outcomes Committee and Cash Interest Share Forum • Support product-level pricing reviews and recommendations • Support proposition development through pricing analysis and commercial modelling • Process, track and report on firm-level discounts and deals for Distribution • Provide subject matter expertise on business performance, firm/customer profitability and pricing effectiveness • Assess pricing impacts on customer outcomes, profitability and growth objectives • Conduct commercial and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making • Identify actions to improve deal performance, mitigate income erosion, drive growth and improve margin • Support design and implementation of migration pricing strategy for customers and advisers moving from Nucleus Wrap and Curtis Banks platforms to the Nucleus platform • Work hands-on across strategic thinking, detailed analysis and execution without a dedicated team beneath the role

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in commercial finance, profitability analysis or related analytical disciplines • Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills • Ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into commercial actions • Strong organisation skills and capacity to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across different projects • Ability to independently identify and resolve issues, develop robust recommendations, manage stakeholders and mobilise expertise to deliver • Understanding of pricing strategy, pricing governance and commercial decision-making • Experience developing and presenting recommendations to senior management • Resilient, with the ability to work independently and take the initiative • Experience within financial services or other regulated environments • Knowledge of Consumer Duty, Fair Value Assessments and customer outcome requirements • Experience of pricing systems, product management platforms or transformation programmes • Strong understanding of platform pricing structures, including wrapper fees, SIPP charges, custody fees, and cash interest policies • Experience managing cross-functional projects and business change initiatives • Relevant professional qualification in Finance, Analytics, Economics or a related discipline (desirable) • Positively demonstrate the Nucleus values and behaviours • Ensure compliance with Code of Conduct at all times
