📋 Description

• Provide patient audio/ visual telemedicine consultations via an onsite telemedicine cart • Diagnoses and manage a wide range of infectious diseases, including but not limited to HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, tuberculosis, sepsis, travel-related illnesses, and emerging infections • Review medical histories, lab results, imaging, and other relevant clinical data through EMR platforms • Prescribe appropriate treatments, medications, and follow-up • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams and offer clinical guidance for infection control and antimicrobial stewardship • Document consultations clearly and accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) • Submit billing charges within billing software as required

🎯 Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school • Board-certified in Infectious Disease (ABIM or equivalent) • Authorized to work in the U.S. • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in infectious diseases (telehealth experience a plus) • Ability to work a minimum of 7 shifts per month • Ability to navigate various EMR/ EHR systems
