📋 Description

• Manage assigned enterprise GIS projects from initiation through closeout, including schedules, budgets, deliverables, and risk tracking. • Coordinate day-to-day activities of project teams, working closely with technical staff such as developers, GIS analysts, and subject matter experts using an Agile methodology in a Scrum framework. • Support client communication by preparing project updates, leading regular status calls, and documenting project decisions. • Manage remote project teams and tasking using web-based collaboration. • Track and report on project progress using established project management tools. • Monitor and control budgets and expenses, escalating variances to program managers as needed. • Facilitate project stakeholder engagement throughout the project life cycles, including leading regular video meetings with clients. • Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure deliverables meet project requirements. • Provide input on proposals and estimates by contributing project data or lessons learned. • Ensure project files, documentation, and records are maintained according to company standards.

🎯 Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience managing GIS or IT projects, with 5+ years of experience in the geospatial field. • Experience with geospatial products and Esri-based GIS solutions in an enterprise context. • Understanding of Agile and other iterative project management methodologies. • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and clients. • Bachelor’s degree in geography, GIS, computer science, or a related field. • Project Management certification (PMP is preferred).
