• Engage with customers (data center operators, facility engineers, IT architects) early in the sales cycle to gather detailed technical requirements for cooling and power • Analyze factors like current rack densities, heat loads, facility water loop parameters, and redundancy needs • Translate requirements into specific product configurations and part numbers • Prepare the technical content for proposals and bids • Lead proof-of-concept deployments and pilot installations for customers who want to evaluate the technology • Act as the go-to technical advisor for both the customer and internal sales throughout the project lifecycle
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering (or similar field) • Ideally 3+ years as an application engineer, sales engineer, or similar role involving data center thermal management or power distribution • Familiarity with liquid cooling technologies (cold plates, immersion, RDHx) and tools for thermal analysis (CFD knowledge a plus) • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, proficiency in reading engineering drawings and specifications, excellent communication for explaining technical concepts to customers • Ability to travel to customer sites across Europe (~30%) • Proficient in English & German; knowledge of other European languages is helpful.
